We make digital devices affordable for farmers, families, and communities across Sub-Saharan Africa — removing the barrier that keeps billions offline.
- THE PROBLEM
The hardware paywall. The key barrier is no longer connectivity.
It's the cost of a device

96% of the world lives within mobile broadband coverage. Yet 3.4 billion people remain offline. In Sub-Saharan Africa, only one in four people uses mobile internet. The constraint is affordability. For millions of households, even an entry-level smartphone represents a third of annual income.
Hagush changes that equation.
The key barrier is no longer connectivity. It's the cost of a device.
A budget smartphone can cost as little as $50 — but for hundreds of millions of people across Sub-Saharan Africa, with financing, that can easily amount to a third of the average person’s annual income. The math makes opting out entirely sensible.
- HOW WE DO IT
A powerful, end-to-end model for meaningful digital inclusion.
ASSET FINANCING
The upfront cost of a device is the single biggest barrier to ownership. We remove it. We purchase devices on behalf of users and enable repayment in affordable instalments over three to twelve months — turning an unthinkable purchase into an achievable one.
DIRECT SOURCING
We source directly from manufacturers and deliver straight to users — eliminating every markup in between. Combined with low-cost financing, this brings device costs 35% below standard market rates.
REVOLVING CAPITAL
Every device we finance feeds into a revolving capital pool. As users repay, the money cycles back — creating a self-sustaining source of financing that grows with every deployment.
- ABOUT US
Digital access is a cost-effective way to organize foundational systems — from farming to healthcare to climate resilience — and transform lives and economies.
Digital tools offer a scalable, cost-effective path for governments, organizations, and startups to reach citizens without the expense of traditional infrastructure. But that promise is hollow if half the population cannot afford the device needed to get online .
"I can't express enough gratitude to Hugush for their outstanding service. Ordering a laptop from Uganda to support my education and work was made incredibly easy thanks to their exceptional communication and cooperation. Buying a laptop in today's market from Africa can be challenging, both financially and in terms of finding a genuine product. Hagush exceeded my expectations. The laptop arrived in perfect condition—brand new, original, and exactly as advertised. Thank you, Hagush, for making this process so smooth and stress-free."
