Citizen

Lend as little as $20 to increase digital device access in Africa.

What We Do

with Your

Loan

We invest it in Pay Later.

Pay Later is our digital device financing program.

With your loans, we finance smartphones, laptops, and other digital devices for farmers, students, and teachers in Africa. Currently we have programs in Kenya.

Beneficiaries typically agree to repay the cost of technology over 12 months. Spreading the cost of technology into monthly installments gives them the ability to afford what they otherwise would not be able to afford upfront.

All Loans are recoverable

You can withdraw your funds in 18 months.

Why 18 months? It takes us about that long to complete a Pay Later program.

When you lend, you create an account with Hagush, and we will notify you once we disburse your funds to borrowers.

Beneficiaries typically make monthly repayments, and you'll be able to track the progress in your account.

Pay Later is enabling the impact of local tech startups and advancing SGD 1 (No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SGD 4 (Quality Education), SGD 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SGD 13 (Climate Action).

Ongoing Pay Later Programs

HagushXFarmIT

Through our partnership with FarmIT, an agri-tech startup, we're financing smartphones for smallholders farmers in Kenya.

FarmIT's technology leverages earth observation tools to aid farmers in making optimal decisions at critical stages of the crop production cycle, resulting in higher agricultural yield, lower fertilizer needs, and higher income.

Shared Office

HagushXStepUpOne

Through our partnership with StepUpOne, a social enterprise that re-skills and employee refugees, we're financing laptops for refugees in Kenya.
